Well, in my limited experience with this product it SUCKS, it broke JUST after the 30 day period for replacement and Drop, failed to offer a replacement! So, I paid over $1 per day for it before it broke and now I am out that hard earned money with a paper weight. BUYER BEWARE!!!
I tried using this amp with some ATH-40s, but the sound is suuuuuuuuper scratchy :(
Did I just pair it with the wrong type of cans (impedance too low) or what did I fail to do?
Not sure if anyone is going for read this, but would you recommend this for a pair of AKG M220s, and if not, what would you recommend in this price range.
Anyone know the output impedance rating? I remember DAC-X6 has fairly high output impedance rating making it not ideal for any low impedance rating headphones.
For example say if DAC-X6 is 10 Ohm then ideally you want 10 Ohm x 8 so the headphone should be 80 Ohm minimum to avoid distortion.
mattrisLOL I'm using Denon D2000 at home which is 25 Ohm so I'm generally not that obsessed about output power. But 19 mW still sounds kind of low.....
