They had a super short Drop of this in early August, 2020 (A few, perhaps?). I bought it for my son to celebrate his 18th birthday! It came August 25, 2020, just in time for his second party (with extended family). My only issue with the watch is the white day wheel (it should be brown or black) but my son does not care about that in the least and loves it!!!
My watch is scary accurate at +/- 0 spd. Not sure how long it is going to keep this up. But I feel like I used up all my watch buying karma for this piece. I’m sure to get a misaligned lemon with dust under the crystal running at -30spd on my next watch purchase.
My Glycine arrived F*up with a very obvious mark near the 2 O'clock position inside the sapphire crystal.
Contacted Drop Customer Service numerous times with NO replies.
Hi @leopadron
Thank you very much for handling this issue!
I understand these happen and appreciate you getting on top of it.
Support did reach out to me just now with a replacement option, which I sent them my address to get a replacement.
Thanks again!
I've ordered mine, and am indeed excited and looking forward to receiving mine soon.
However I cannot help but wonder, what makes this Drop + Glycine collaboration so exclusive other than the Drop wording stamped on the caseback?
This is a GL0267, which in the Drop description and campaign, we were led to belive was an exclusive edition Glycine run here at Drop.
Where in fact before any of us received our Drop specials, some couple of weeks ago I have noticed GL0267s appearing for sale all over the internet, like on Igunasell and Chrono24.
So again, what sets the Drop version apart from the other GL0267s available on the internet? It seems like the Drop version is not so exclusive after all?
I'm not complaining here, I'm happy with this cracking deal from Drop.
I just want to know what makes the Drop version different from the GL0267s available everywhere else apart from the Drop words on the caseback? If there is no difference, why was this touted a Drop exclusive?
Lovely watch, happy with purchase. Nice surprise that the strap had quick releases which is good news as the strap itself is not that great of quality (too stiff) so you'll want to replace it soon enough.
Watch itself has excellent build as do all combat subs (this is my third) and love the vintage design.
Lume is definitely usable.
Happy with the purchase!
