…but honestly nothing more. It’s a very nice looking carabiner, imo. But the “extras” are so tiny and tightly contained, my adult fingers and lack of steel reinforced nails mean I need another tool to get the tools out from hiding. As such, like I said, it’s a carabiner.
Got this since I use a cheap carabiner to keep my work keys on my belt loop and wanted to upgrade. I constantly use said keys while working. The box cutter works well. I haven't even used the screwdrivers yet, but they look like they'd work in a jam, albeit awkwardly. The hidden message compartment is interesting, but will likely just collect lint. All the tools require two hands to deploy and disengage. For my daily work use of clipping and un-clipping from pants to use my keys, these work flawlessly once the lock is out of the way.
The packaging was cute, it came in a faux-cassette package and also includes the required hex to take the blade off if you want to take this on a plane. Provided instructions suggest you can use these as a "knuckle protector" in a brawl and for my small hands they would work, if you have medium-large hands I don't think they'll fit, but I'm a pacifist so will likely never use them in that fashion.
All-in-all, these work well for holding keys. It was definitely an impulse buy since I really enjoy the GPCA bolt-action pen. Obviously a cheap carabiner or real one would work just as well for my purposes.
Designed in California, made in China. It's pocket jewelry made in China. It's not really something designed for rugged use. With that said, I should have known better. Not particularly pleased... I recommend it as a key chain. I do not recommend it as a serious tool.
