I just received my unit, however the right ear will charge until it has enough to turn on, then it will turn on in the case, then it will die...
Even when i manage to pull it out and turn it off before it dies, it repeats the cycle in the case
ShimaI am having the exact same issue, the right earbud refuse to turn on whatsoever, it has the charging indicator light will placed in to charge, but the second you took it out of the case, the light will fade and won’t respond to anything.(tried to reset it back to factory setting, didn’t work) Have you contacted Drop yet? Can you give me some advice? Thanks a lot.
LZ-1238Yeah, I tried everything I count find... nothing changed the problem.
i just went ahead to get a refund, since drop customer support couldn't do an exchange for the same product.
Think we might have just gotten a bad batch. Good luck!
I've not gotten my unit yet, but I did hear this when it first came out. I loved what I sounded like, to me best audiophile oriented TWS. I didn't buy it than, despite owning all the UIEM JVC produces because of lack of LDAC support.
But now, thanks to this low price It is worth buying as we buy something like BTD600 to enable aptx adapteive support.
I am a big fan of the woodies series of JVC and own many of them.
I bought those blindly. I am terribly disappointed by the sound quality for MUSIC.
Could I have a defective pair ?
These would be great IF
They had an App, everything is manual, meaning it's all on the ear buds themselves and requires multiple taps to operate setting. Ambient mode only has one setting too.
I also had to use third-party eartips to comfortable use these.
Pretty much all around this is great but the biggest killer is no App to control/customize the functions.
@Drop As someone mentioned below. They got the title wrong. It's the HA-FW1000T not the HA-FW1000.
It isn't bluetooth 5.0, it's bluetooth 5.2 and it isn't IPX2, it's IPX4.
Aside from getting these bits of information incorrect, they are also missing massive chunks of information from the actual page that would prove to be beneficial advertising and actually are very good selling points. Please update this page to make it more appealing.

I read the google translation from Japanese of the original site and it still had more useful information than the current Drop page.
QwervyHello @Qwervy! Thank you so much for calling this out. We have worked with our friends at JVC to confirm and correct the title and specifications you called out. We really appreciate your help on this. Thanks again!
SusanAAwesome! That's what we like to see, unfortunately there are a few errors grammatically too...
After 'detail to spare' you're missing a space.
Nearer towards the bottom you have 'ear pair,' I think you meant to have 'each pair.'
And IPX4 should be at the very bottom in the description not IPX-4 for consistency.
Also in the name of consistency and ease of reading you could change this:
'The wireless functionality is powered by Bluetooth with a Qualcomm adaptive codec that supports sampling up to 96 kilohertz...'
to
' The wireless functions through Bluetooth with support for Qualcomm's 'aptX adaptive' codec which supports sampling up to 96 kilohertz...'
I have one of this, its superb. Slightly bassy, but the sound stage and musical separation is awesone.
They are better than nuratrue as nuratrue lacks soundstage and loses slightly in details retrieval.
MTW2 was a close fight, but also loses on details retrieval and soundatage. But MTW2 was a brighter TWS as compared to this. I have this for a few months and was surprised that not much reviews are out there.
I think the FW1000T is super underrated yet sonically much superior than many.
Of course, I'm just lookin around ahaha.
Getting a good idea for where things sit. I went to Japan back in 2020 and I tested some of the JVC IEM's they had on display and I really liked how basically all of them sounded. Very natural sounding. So I was thinking that if these are similar to those then these might be good at some point in the future.
I don't mind getting slighly-outdated stuff if it's made well. These seem to have most of the latest tech even though theywere released at the end of 2021.
I will definitely have a look at other TWS IEM's too. I'm leaning towards something Japanese because I like the attention to detail and design philosophy. I don't want anything cheapy but I also don't want anything generic like sony etc which is why I was leaning towards something like a JVC because of the interesting company history but also the fact that they aren't really known that well for audio in western circles these days.
Likewise, I'm curious about Final Audio (although they can be quite v-shaped). This is all for future upgrade ideas but it doesn't hurt to start looking early. I'm currently using a pair of Mavin's (not Japanese I know haha) that I bought whilst in Japan and they're going pretty well so I'll wait for when the battery dies on them before actually upgrading.
Thank you so much for your help and suggestions, I'll keep them all in mind.
QwervyNo prob! I like JVC as a brand too, and I still considered the JVC HA-FDX1 as one of my best purchases after so many years! I am using my fiio utws5 with my moondrop blessing 2, which I found it really good. Wired IEM sound and with wireless connectivity. 😀
All the best for ur next one!
