I just cannot get past the cushion case on a pilot watch.

Hamilton?! Do you realize if this watch was an Ingersoll, it would be seven-hundred dollars less, and come with nice wooden box?!!! Just thought I’d point that out ;- )

RayFPlus you might get one of those nifty dial windows to watch the Cracker Jack Miyota movement.

Hamilton Calibre H-31 "improves" the ETA 7753 to 60 hours power reserve which is nice but Hamilton omits the 12 hours chrono sub dial. The maximum time that can be displayed for the chronograph is 30 minutes now... seriously why?

Tony48307Who needs more? Certainemly not the RAF pilots that had the chonos that inspired those Hamilton (CWC, Hami, Lemania...)

Tony48307Does anyone actually use chrono subdials practically? Surely they are purely cosmetic in 2020? I am not attempting a quartz vs auto argument but anyone seriously relying on timing for safety and accuracy is not using auto chronos.

Back in July, Ashford had a good deal on the bracelet model but they're now at $1,149. Personally, I like the NATO strap one better. Is it odd that the description has "Caseback" listed twice with the watch having both a "solid" and "display" back? (photo has display)

I have one and I love it. Definitely thicker than my Speedmaster Pro, but with the short lugs it wears comfortably for me on a NATO strap. This is a super classic design very similar to the version Hamilton made for the UK MoD in the 1970s. The movement has been super accurate for me too.

Nice, but not quite as charming as the original Pilot Pioneer Auto with inner rotating dial.

Too thick (16mm is a lot, for a watch case!). And that date window, ugh.

Not a bad watch, good brand, a little timid for me. @MarPabl’s suggestion is obviously a better choice.

The ⌚ is nice but the pricing seems high... Better deal here and with bracelet 💲7️⃣9️⃣9️⃣🤑 https://www.ashford.com/us/watches/hamilton/khaki-aviation/khaki-aviation-pilot-pioneer-auto-chrono/H76416155.pid It's important to note with this ⌚ you're getting ETA's exclusive evolution of the Valjoux 7️⃣7️⃣5️⃣3️⃣, now with 6️⃣0️⃣ hours power reserve. Check details here https://watchbase.com/hamilton/caliber/h-31 I 💭 the chronograph pushers are too recessed and may be hard to operate, also the case is somewhat thick but you get a domed sapphire there. Personally, I prefer an hour totalizer instead of the 🏃🏻‍♂️ seconds 🖐🏻 @ 🕘. For me, a 3️⃣0️⃣ minutes chronograph seems somewhat short, but maybe I can deal with that. This ⌚ is from 2️⃣0️⃣1️⃣3️⃣ and there are several reviews:

Then Longines will do https://www.jomashop.com/longines-watch-l3-744-4-56-6.html That one is also an evolution of the 7️⃣7️⃣5️⃣3️⃣ which is exclusive to Longines and this one has a column wheel 🆒

MarPablI appreciate the link: it's one of the rare combination chronograph and divers watch with bezel 1h timing. Very nice indeed. If you know more watches available with this combination please let me know: anhtuanhu@yahoo.com - thanks a lot
