Would love some suggestions on ground coffee brands that produce good results with cold brew pots. Have tried the Amazon-recommended Stone Street coffee but wasn’t impressed. Any other suggestions?

glennacI've used my own beans in my own grinder on a coarse setting. You'll need a burr grinder opposed to blades to get good consistency. I've had good results, but there's still usually some sediment that I try to avoid at the bottom of the carafe.

czornacback when i used a bodum "iced coffee maker", which is essentially a french press with a rubber gasket on the plunger, i would have to run it through a few paper filters in the pour over coffee maker to get it perfectly clear. for coffee suggestions, i use anything that is less acid and more earthy. i find cold brew accentuates certain flavours better and harsher ones as well. i personally don't like acid in anything so that may be a personal preference. I've had decent results with costco bulk beans. none of the starbucks crap, but the big bags from other roasters. the hawaii one is good and so is the silver south american(?) one. i also prefer medium roast the most. brewing cold brew its mostly concentrate, watering down a light roast is not great to me flavour wise, but you have to cause of the caffeine. dark roast for cold brew gets a bit too muddy.

Much, much cheaper on that "rain forest" site for my Canadian comrades.

AnchovyBonJoviyea lately mass drops been devoid of deals. hope they aren't doing this for advertisement profit. its like when kickstarter used to be good too. "you either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain"
