If I could I'd give this a 0/5 stars & it pains me to say so. I don't understand the logic behind building a DAP that sounds SO good yet everything else is complete trash (and I'm not talking about its minimalistic feel). It had trouble reading NTFS on my card so I switched to exFAT and it worked fine, until it started crashing literally after minutes of playing tracks, I looked for the latest firmware and found out that it already has the latest one and had not been updated since 2017. I flashed the firmware again and the crashing problem still persists. I decided to switch to FAT32 file system and give it a go and it still crashes the same. Even when I ignored this problem there was already another problem showing up - random errors occurring during playback saying: "File not supported" despite the same track being played successfully otherwise.
Recently I played one track on it in my office and the screen turned off & never back on again, in less than two weeks this piece of garbage has given me more trouble than I imagined. Absolutely disappointed, this is preposterous!
UPDATE: The screen started working again as soon as I plugged it in for charging....ok now I can confidently say that the entire problem here is this God forsaken clunky software that is running this otherwise FANTASTIC sounding DAP....Make this software bullet proof and I will give it a 5/5 with my eyes closed.
Pros: great sound quality (seriously), small form factor and light, decent battery life (dependant on iem or full sized listening)
Cons: BARE bones os with no extras like EQ, no usb DAC capabilities, laggy interface, no touch screen.
Tested on 1060, 1060C and H400S
For 50 bucks its a great sounding DAC that I can daily and not worry if it gets dropped. 3\5
DenisFAll two hundred and six have been found dead--and all with identical scorch marks where their ears used to be! Authorities don't believe the deaths are related and are warning the public not to panic.
mayauxits like comparing USA vs India military. AK380 has better power management, Dual AKM DAC and balanced drive amplification circuit (i do run my Elex balanced)
So i'm interested in this, is it any good? or should i give it a pass, any good DAP for the same price as this? can i use Bluetooth headphones with this?
It's interesting to see product comments like "256 GB... Enough to build a massive library!" And I feel extremely limited with my current 780 GB device. I'd like three times that. Nothing so far comes close.
