@BenTWP, do it, if you haven't already. I've been using one of these trays for a couple years (Jun 23, 2017 was the transaction date). They're lovely, heavy leather. It's as nice as the day I got it. Fits fully loaded cargoes worth of kit, if you don't mind stacking it neatly in the tray. Super nice addition to my bedside table.
Best part? The tray disassembles at the corners, and packs flat. I take it with me on trips. It's silly, packing a valet tray on trips, but maaaaaan, this thing's nice.

wow... 26$ for something like this, which is die cut, has virtually no finish except for the one present in the leather itself and takes 5 minutes to "assemble"... and then people complain about the prices for real handcrafted leather items... ridiculous

Nicholas is great. I've ordered from him multiple times and never got anything but swift service and quality products. This is one drop you shouldn't be concerned about running late, imo.

Another brief update for the group. As @HollowsLeather mentioned, the majority of these are currently en route to our warehouse in New Jersey and should be arriving soon. There our receiving team will be standing by ready to break down the shipment into the individual orders so they can be repackaged and sent to each of you. We will keep you updated throughout the process and notify the group regarding the delayed portion of the trays as soon as we have a better understanding of when they will ship out.
We are thankful for your continued patience and you can expect an update from us by the end of the day Pacific Time on 5/8 or earlier if anything comes up.

Shipping fee $7.70? :( I hope MD can do something about these international shipping charges. Sometimes it's high, sometimes it's reasonable, sometimes it's actually good. Could we international folks get some standard fees? Thanks.

awkI wouldn't recommend it for dumps exceeding 7 inches in length, but in terms of girth, I think this should cover all but the most robust of dumps.

Leather prices have been rising steeply for years, I have to adjust from time to time. The increase is pretty modest, and the price here is still a bit over 30% off my retail. Dig it!
To recap some info from the last drop, the trays should be folded rough-side-out (they'll work either way, but this is the way they're meant to be), and the usable space inside is about 5x5" and 1.5" deep.

A quick update for the group! We are in contact with the vendor and are awaiting updated shipment estimates from them. We are following up with them first thing tomorrow morning and should get a bit more visibility in regards to when we can expect these in our warehouse. We will update the group as soon as these are on the way.
Currently we expect that these will be in our warehouse inline with the expected ship date listed in the drop description page.

Are you concerned about any aspect of this drop in particular? All Tyler is saying is that things are on track to be delivered on time. I know Nicholas of Hollows Leather well and am in constant contact with him, and I can assure you that he is making these right now (if he's not already done). No news is good news!

IanAndersonI think he was saying that instead of using vague descriptors of what is happening to just tell us what is actually happening. You're trying to be too proper and politically correct. If you knew the trays were already in production, let us know (Tyler's response makes it seem like they might not be).
I understand Tyler's reply was meeting a commitment from his initial response a couple weeks back but this responses could have been better worded and phrased to give the customers more confidence (like many of the other replies I've seen here). Its tough as you're dealing with long lead times and logistics issues, but let us know, be up front and you're customers will be more likely to return!

I really want one of these but having to pay for it now when I'm strapped for cash to get it in almost two months leads me to the decision to wait for the next time this drops. I really hope it will in deed drop again, and that those who join the current drop will post their reviews here! Pictures including pocket dump are encouraged!

AaronBWell the drop has more than doubled since my previous, optimistic prediction. It's less likely now.
