Product Description
Like something a 19th-century businessman might have carried, the Ingersoll Trenton looks like a piece of vintage Americana—and it is. Made by Ingersoll, which was founded in New York in 1892, this pocket watch has a rustic look and feel, and it's part of a limited-edition run of just 250 serialized pieces Read More
I have purchased a few items through drop, massdrop, through the time its been around. I miss the gaming and writing items, but still visit for the few other items that pop up. I love pocket watches and saw this show up on the feed. I loved presentation box and shipping. I have worn the watch daily since it arrived and I love it. Great experience as expected from the past drops.
I'm a fan of manual and automatic watches so that got my attention right away, and I enjoy using a pocket watch. At this price point, this one is a true bargain. Before I bought it on Drop I checked it out on Amazon where it was priced at about $560. The watch appears to be well-made and for a manual watch, keeps very good time. It gained a little less than 3 minutes in a 7 day period, which is certainly acceptable. Unique colorization, solid feel in the hand.
AzPaulQuick update - After 3 weeks the watch stopped functioning. It cannot be wound. The stem will not go back into the watch for winding, it just moves the watch hands. Looking now to find out how to return under warranty.
Nice watch - presentation box lock pin does not work
The watch is as expected, a nice limited edition time piece. I am a bit disappointed with the handsome presentation box as its lock pin fitting is not good making its use impossible.
I’m new to the watch community and as such I don’t know Much about watches. I have really enjoyed this pocket watch and feel it is well worth the money paid not to mention the freedom it allows me to have nothing on my wrist. My granddaughter is beyond fascinated with it too!! Its maintained accurate time and I would most assuredly buy another at the offered price.
Its came in the largest wooden box I have ever seen for a watch even bigger than a Panerai, it was brilliantly presented & the pocket watch I thought was a great recreation. I would buy more as gifts if I could without hesitation. I dont understand why it is being reviewed so poorly, no complaints here for the money I paid & have been buying watches for over 20 years.
The presentation box is crazy big for such small item. The watch is beautiful but it was dead on arrival. The mechanical movement is probably busted .Since I live in U.A.E it might not even be economically viable for me to send it back for repair. What a shame!
