Product Description
Like a fine wine or a premium cup of coffee, honey is full of nuances, textures, and complexity. From Bee Local, this pack comes with five unique honeys from different sources of nectar: carrot, alfalfa, buckwheat, blackberry, and wildflower Read More
Isn't the whole argument for using local honey is getting exposure to local allergens? If these aren't local to you, what's the point? Single origin is certainly interesting for the variety of flavor profiles, but given the price, not THAT interesting.
9oz spread across 5 jars? So 1.8oz per jar, which will give you about 6 or so us tsp. So it's not much honey per jar - assuming a tsp per two slices of toast or recipes calling for less than 2 tsp of sugar.
JProllz9.5 oz per jar, it says. So you're getting almost 50 oz of honey here.
Edit: ...Is what I would say if the store page was right. Given their own storefront lists the whole thing as 9.5 oz, and the images are a bit more telling for their size, I think it's safe to say it needs to be updated.
A local honey of unknown locality how very local.
If you are going to pay absurd sums for honey at least support someone actually local and reap the allergen benefits.
Can anyone confirm if indeed each bottle is 9.35 oz? The 5-jar box pictured says the total weight is 9.35 oz and the official website doesn't provide additional details
