So before I jumped on this I wanted to make sure it matches up with my other components. So I contacted JBL and asked about the balanced and unbalanced input impedance specs. Response I got was 10K unbalanced and 600 ohm balanced (!).
Now, I know that 600 ohm matched impedance components used to be common in the pro world, but I'll be connecting this to a balanced preamp with a 100 ohm output impedance. How will these interact?
Any experts out there?

You should be fine with your 6:1 impedance ratio. If you notice any overload distortion, move the sensitivity switch to the +4 dBu position.

I have headphone amplifiers (Schiit Magni). I contacted to their support, they told me that it can provide enough power, and told that no active monitors need amplification.
