MalcolmReynoldsHA-FW01 is my current favorite IEM, I have the HA-FW1800 on pre-order from Drop already. Maybe go based on price? I love the JVC wood line so I'll be tempted by anything Drop can get there.

rhpot1991Thanks for your suggestion. I have the JVC HA-FDX1, which I think is great. But would also like something a little warmer and more bass without being muddy. I think I may go with the HA-FW01 the next time it shows up.
Look forward to your impressions on the HA-FW1800 when you get it. Maybe you can speak to your impressions between the two. Hope you end up liking it!!

MalcolmReynoldsHA-FW01 is available now actually. I have the HA-FDX1 as well, it isn't bad but I like everything from JVC's wood line so much better. A little warmer and more bass is a pretty good description of the differences to expect.
