Case in point: the company’s in-house, flagship Wood Dome drivers, which employ 50-micrometer birchwood dome carbon diaphragms to achieve 103-decibel sensitivity, a frequency response spanning 6 hertz to 52 kilohertz, and a distinctively warm sound overall. These benefits and more, such as expansive sound staging, are also made possible by natural components taken from the FW-01, including silk absorption materials and external wood housing.
