Ah yes. right after I cancelled my order people are getting their shipped out emails. Guess they needed people to cancel in order to have the correct amount to ship to people that decided to hold on. PoS ass company.
got them in mail today.
6.5/10 out of box. 8.5/10 when changed to JVC spiral dot.
Totally have no clue why they use that strange translucent tip on it, completely beaten by spiral dot.
Having ordered in January I genuinely believe it will take a year or more for me to receive these. I have patience, but what I dont have is respect for a company who so clearly does not care about verifying the availability of product BEFORE guaranteeing a ship date (four times at this point), and accepting payment from trusting customers. I genuinely believe Drop is sitting on their thumbs with shoulders shrugged and NO initiative being given to try and figure out how to solve this as quickly as possible.
Four times support has told me "this is on the logistic teams radar", but I never hear what the logistics team has found, what can be done about it, and what the idea going forward should be. Instead, my ship date simply bumps up a month.... This will be the second and last time I order from Drop, for the "savings" I'm definitely fine shelling out more to listen to these MONTHS ahead of time versus wasting my life not having them hoping they'll eventually fall from the sky.

bacom15I couldn't agree with you more!!! Everything you said is true I've done the same exact thing four times!!! They even tried to flip it on me saying that I must have missed the notice and guess what after I complained then I got the notice. They sent me the notice after they said I should have seen the notice that it had gone it's all nonsense!!! An at this point I'm literally in the same boat as you if they fall from the sky then I'll be happy as a pig in you know what.!!! I got to tell you a huge JVC fan also so I really do want to get this especially at this price but it has been a nightmare. Hopefully everything works out for everybody!!! E
Tony1223Hey Tony, Erik here. I didn't check my emails to see the update but I do see that they changed the ship date to October 30th here where you look at the headphones. And then you have something that says November 17th and I'm going to bet that that's more accurate. Thank you for the information I'm going to look in my emails and see if they sent me one. It really is getting ridiculous though.
PS- I checked my email and sure enough November 17th. Even though the tentative ship date was October 5th, one of the Drop customer support reps named Liz told me that when they got an update they would let us know. So even though it's 21 days past the last supposed ship date they may not have heard anything from JVC till now. You would think that Drop having come up with the FDX1 and selling so many of them,that they would have some pull with JVC. I knew your information was accurate!!!Thank you for the update, Erik
"Estimated ship date: Oct 5th, 2023". Current date: Oct 7th, 2023. Why don't you CONIRM that the manufacturer can provide the required amount of units BEFORE offering to sell it to your customers?
It's either that the manufacturer is having difficulty, OR it's that some greedy corporate suit is keeping MY money, OUR money in a high interest savings account and will never actually place the order.
It has now been 4 MONTHS since you have given the first estimated shipping date, and you have missed your own deadline 4 times. This is the most recent occurrence. Shame on you, Drop for your inability to be completely honest with why this is happening. DO BETTER!

SkyFlakesThis is my second order on drop, first time wasn't any issues, but now... Well hope I will get order before christmas. Tempted to cancel order, but kinda money spent and forgotten, so could wait a little more and see how this is gonna end. But in the future will never order from drop ever again after such communication.
I just cancelled my order and bought the Sennheiser IE 600 for £430 off eBay. Much better IEM’s and I don’t have to wait 4 months for them to show up lol
