Almost all knives use Torx hardware, but low-quality tools can strip the screws and make them nearly impossible to remove. That’s why we stocked this kit with the best of the best. Featuring a comprehensive set of Wera Torx drivers, a Wera Rapidaptor, a set of Wera Torx torsion bits, and a rack that sits on a desk or mounts to a wall, this kit has everything you need to disassemble most any knife in your collection. Folding knives have moving parts that are in constant contact, which can prevent a knife from opening and closing smoothly. To keep those areas clean, there’s the EDCi cleaning solution, which aids in rust and corrosion prevention. Safe for any kind of finish—from Cerakote and DLC to PVD and anodized finishes—EDCi is also non-toxic and non-flammable. To apply it, rub it in with the microfiber cloth. After, you're left with a clean, dry surface that won’t attract dirt, dust, or fingerprints. Once you’ve cleaned your knife, use the Nano-Oil 10-weight lubricant. It adheres to sub-microscopic metal crevices, resulting in next to no friction at all. Put a drop or two on the pivot barrel, detent, and bearings or washers, and your folders will flip open like new. 

Usually, knives come sharp from the factory, but if you magnify the edge you’ll see many small nicks and burrs. The goal of the strop is to realign all the burrs and create a fine-tip edge. With other sharpening methods, it’s easy to roll an edge over, but the strop is flexible and soft enough that that won’t happen.
