If Jack Sparrow wore a timepiece, it might look something like the L. Kendall K6. Set against a mother-of-pearl dial, the K6 has a rustic, worn-in look. It presents three separate complications: a cryptic, rotating date wheel at 12 o’clock; a 12-hour display with an anchor for a counterbalance at 8; and a small seconds subdial at 4 that looks like the wheel of a pirate ship. Bringing everything together is the lumed minutes hand with a large sextant-shaped counterbalance. The wheels of this vessel turn courtesy of the automatic ETA 2824-2 movement, which offers a 38-hour tank. Fitted with a thick, curved sapphire crystal, the watch also has a display caseback to admire the engine. It comes on a handmade calf leather strap with a distressed look to match.
