Product Description
Instead of a single cheap tube that gives off muddled sound, the Little Dot MKIII features four tubes: two dedicated input tubes and two dedicated output tubes. Letting your left and right audio channels enter through separate RCA ports and pass through channel specific input and output tubes before joining up at the headphone jack, you get a clear signal on both sides with little to no crossover Read More

Would love to see a drop of these again.
First tube amp I've actually been able to use IEMs with so already getting my thumbs up (MK3 SE) review to come after burning it in and swapping tubes a few times (between this and my mangird teas that should be arriving in a couple days I will be busy for a while lol)

Does anyone know how the Little Dot MKIII SE Tube Headphone amp compares to the xDuoo TA-20 Balanced Headphone Amp? Honestly the little dot, to me at least, looks like it's built cheap and lacking in build quality. It could be the pictures though. Any help would be much appreciated

Awesome. I have the Tin P1s. If it works on that it should work great on the rest. Thanks a bunch for the help
no problem just note that if you plan on tube swapping they can make or break the IEM experience on tubes (as they are usually pretty sensitive) stock tubes on mine were fine but one of my swaps had a bit of static when sound wasn't playing
woohoo shipping notification, anyone else stick through to the end?

Sylvania "Bad Boy" tubes were recommended to me for tube rolling. The problem with the Mk III is that the gold circles around the insert holes do not allow a tube converter to fit...any work arounds or solutions?
mpb65unless you can take the gold bits off probably not I looked around for adapters that might fit but didn't see any

mpb65You need to get a socket saver. If you want to use those tubes, you would need this,9 pin socket saver ecc88 (https://www.ebay.ca/itm/Gold-9pin-ECC83-12AX7-ECC82-12AU7-ECC81-12AT7-EL84-6BQ5-Vacuum-Tube-Socket-Saver/313204683204?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2648) Then you would need a 6SN7 to ECC88 adapter.

Just wondering if Drop will update those who purchased this amp. Today is the estimated shipping date and it's 10:00 pm Eastern and nothing yet. Drop, just let us know something! Just notified, this Drop has been delayed for those who made the purchase. No idea how long but if it goes more than 30 days they will notify us again.

yeah I'll probably wait for it since it's the cheapest option I saw for a balanced tube amp and had some nice compatability

Malinthe MKIII SE is a hybrid amp (an OTL amp would not work with low impedance headphones well)
