Luminox is a fan favorite for a couple of reasons: For one, the company developed the first Navy SEAL watch series in 1993; for another, the self-powered illumination system employed in its watches will last up to 25 years with no need for exterior power. Offering the grab-and-go convenience that only a quartz watch can, this model dons a striking white look to stand out on the wrist Read More

Not sure why people are coming down on the color. I would imagine that many seals living at the Arctic and Antarctic would really want to wear a white watch to match their background and be camouflaged. How they can operate that little button with their flippers is another issue.
In my overseas days running around with the U.S. military I've hung out or worked with Navy SEALs, Army Rangers & Green Berets, and even a mysterious D-boy or two (everyone wants internet, even professional pipehitters).
Not *once* were any of them wearing a white watch.
They were always black digital watches that they wouldn't shed a tear for if they got mangled on a mission, i.e. "G-Shock".
In my tanker days if any of us had come to formation wearing a watch that wasn't black, Top would have chewed our asses.
We all wore G-Shocks.
Hell, Top once chewed me out for wearing nice Danner officer-style tanker boots (most comfortable boots on the planet) until the unit CO told him they were authorized.
Calling this a "SEAL" watch is pants-on-head stupid.
Great Watch, wrong color. I have an earlier Navy Seal black with blue dial. Quartz movements normally accurate, mine rarely needs resetting. Would like the new larger case, but White! Come on Drop!
White? White? Come on Drop!! This smells of desperation.
PS. What Navy Seal Special Ops guy would ever be caught wearing this watch either on the base or on an actual mission? 🤣🤣🤣🤣
You lost me there; although I'm impressed with your Google-ing skills, I have no idea what you are talking about, or why you responded to me. I think you are on the wrong thread, or at least responded to the wrong guy.

BarryBogaveYou asked what Navy Seal Special Ops team
would wear a white watch, so I looked up the branch and base that’s in Kodiak, Alaska.
Ha! I thought something about this drop smelled fishy!!! Evidently MD didn't want us to know the TRUTH about this Navy Seal watch, did they?!!! Well this time I say they've taken this whole San Fransisco, gender-neutral, wear the watch you identify with stuff too far!!!
Turns out this is nothing but a danged old GIRLS WATCH!!!

Of course it is fifty-bucks cheaper here, you know, incase you're a girl and all...
That’s a 36mm watch on tony’s Wrist right there, the 118238 with a champagne dial no less. He would never watch a watch this large. Maybe Christopher would’ve when they were hunting the Russian.
