It seems disingenuous to have the title tout the titanium version with that fantastic price right under, only to discover that it is actually an additional $20. I realize you may have recycled the description, as you have for many drops recently, but you really need to stop doing that as well. It is very annoying to find options in the description or accessories included in the description not available or included in the drop. Seriously, stop. There are not hundreds of drops going up every day. Take a minute to get it right. Your community will appreciate it.

ponagathosTotally agree. The title is completely deceptive. This looks exactly like they are selling the Titanium version for $24.99. It should just say Lumintop Pen Light.

I have the brass version of this light with the Nichia emitter, and it is a nice light.
The brass patinas over time and looks really classy. Worn in, but not ragged. And the heft of the brass makes it feel really substantial.
I can't speak for the electronics, but the brass body is solid and seems like it could last for generations.
I've come to appreciate the penlight form factor a lot. It's slim, so it's more unobtrusive than shorter, squatter lights.
It slips very easily into the edge of your pocket and you don't even know it's there.
It's a nice alternative to the tactical look that most flashlights seem to go for these days.

Here’s a pic.
Its not not the best pic, but you get the idea of what the brass will look like patinaed.
I keep a few other hard items in my pocket, so the patina on mine has scratches. And it’s worn itself smooth near the clip and higher after keeping my card wallet in the same pocket.
if you don’t keep hard items or things that will buff the patina smooth in the same pocket, the brass will develop a rich, even patina coating.
It comes off as looking a little dirty in the pic, but looks a lot richer in real life.

K.T.NI dig it, thanks for the pic... I can def understand what you are describing and how the patina is developed by its environment. I’m going to give it a shot... the sickness in me now is on the hunt for brass items to collect to compliment it. Sigh...

Massdrop won't let me leave a review for some reason, so I cant 3 star rate this. Ive had the brass version for at least a year. I used to carry it everywhere for about 3 months and haven't used it since. The light flickers constantly and im always fidgeting with the body of the light to make sure its tight but that doesn't always seem to be the issue. The finish was beautiful, when the light isn't flickering it is very bright, its small so it takes up very little pocket real estate and its so light you barely know its there. Overall I would never buy this again since its just the same old struggle I've had with any cheap flashlight... the flickering! It looks pretty but not reliable.

“Tweezers”? Mine is so glued in that I can't get it to budge in either direction with needle nose pliers! 🤨

IvanSpendalotWhy you need a reason if you can buy such a nice light like this special version IYP365? Even the regular version is a great little penlight. And for this price.... I'm in!
IvanSpendalotLove your screen name, dude. lol

Well, at least Massdrop is completely consistent with lacking details on flashlights. A large percentage of the flashlight drops NEVER list the order of brightness levels. I was going to get in on the titanium version, but since Massdrop has once again FAILED MISERABLY to give the pertinent details, I will not join the drop. The order of modes matters significantly to me while it may not to others. I will not buy a light of this style that is anything other than L-M-H.

MartingwDon't let something that simple stop you. It's only a 3 mode light, and one of the nicest penlight made

Damn, fantastic light...but MLH, why? It just makes no sense.

DBSSI think anyone complaining about MLH has to spend an afternoon with such a light (in a situation where you use the light) and re-evaluate that opinion.
Low is seldom bright enough with an emitter of this type. This means that medium is the most often desired mode. High goes last always because it is the most wasteful of energy.
To me, the triviality of blocking output on my body or other hand while tapping to Low is well worth having the Medium on tap.

unphasedI completely disagree and think that using two quick clicks to get to Medium makes a lot more sense than using your hand or body to block the light to get to Low mode. In the dark, Low is often enough light, and I carry and use lights on a daily basis and have for many many years. In fact I would go so far as to say that L-H-M i s a better set-up as Low and High are most often used modes.

Perhaps penlight means something different in the EDC community than it does the medical community so does anyone know if this will work for judging pupillary reaction? I'd prefer not to sear anyone's retinas.

RashkhBuckten is right with 25lm. Also, you can shine the light to the side of each eye if you're worried about it being too bright.

What do the rubber washers do that come with these models? Everytime i put them in and screw the ends down it just squeezes the rubber washers out. lol I think I am doing it wrong.

OH! I shouldn'ta squished em then...
smallbitThey help to make the flashlight water tight. Otherwise, if you drop it in a puddle, the water will seep into the battery compartment.

I'm not going to buy when the shipping doubles if ordering two lights. That's just ridiculous.

I guess if you order 3, or maybe 4, it wouldn't be a bad deal. I'm seriously considering getting 3 brass. One for myself and 2 for gifts.
I just checked shipping for 4. The shipping price stayed at 7.75.

DOBTruckers+1 for copper. Everything should be made of copper. The Ti one looks pretty nice, though, honestly. I've got webbing on my bag; this looks like it would sit nicely behind the straps.
