Seven-Driver IEMs With Clear, Precise Sound
Following the release of its popular A4, LZ has earned a reputation on both Massdrop and Head-Fi for delivering excellent value, sound, and build quality in its line of IEMs. With the Big Dipper, the company aims to bring those same qualities in a higher-end model—featuring a whopping seven balanced armature drivers per ear. The Big Dipper’s housing is shaped similarly to that of custom-molded IEMs and should fit most ear canals comfortably with the six included sets of ear tips. As for the audio, Headfonia raves, “This IEM has a very clear sound with a good technical prowess and precision. It’s generally focused on mids and highs… Trebles are well extended and articulated, soundstage is very nice, and coherency leaves nothing to desire.”
