For pressing quilt blocks it is superb! The heat of the iron is conducted to the wool underneath which ‘presses’ the seams from the back side also. (This is a non-scientific explanation of what I think makes it work so well!) My blocks are really flat and even, no stretching.

I can really tell the difference when pressing my fabric with the decorating diva The lines are so much crisper then using a standard ironing board I wish I had bought a bigger size

I am so happy I ordered this pressing mat. It is absolutely fabulous! I ordered the larger size & glad I did. So much more convient than getting the ironing board out for those smaller items. Perfect for quilting projects, sewing projects & so, so much more.

I love my pressing mat. I’m very happy I went with the bigger size that was offered. I did notice that it will scorch, but I’m still pleased.

At first I was skeptical of this but I do mach hoop embroidery and this really works great for pressing these projects. Keep it right with my ironing board, may need a small one for class.
