Manley products are A++! I presently own and intend to keep, their 300b pre-amp and did own a pair of Snapper power amps. Build quality is superb and the "tube sound" is awesome! The 300b has a headphone out, so I'm not in the market for this product. But if you are, do not hesitate to pull the trigger. You will not be disappointed!

This is an amazing amp. Still at 1 W max putput at 12 ohms it is not that powerful (is this in triode or push pull mode?). Either way it is just excelent. I own Manley recording gear (tube mic preamps). I would buy this but... WHY was it built to look like a toilet? Please! Its just that the design is disturbing. It does not do justice to this otherwise excellent product.

Great amp with tubes that are not expensive. I have read some comments here about price but how many know what it costs to have custom cases done, that are not off the shelf, that are often junk. Custom made transformers, which is an art unto itself, and Manley knows how to do it. Quality components inside that all equate to, great sound if you have good headphones. I have had a unit for around 2 years now. Zero issues and very easy on the tubes. I have a few sets of tubes but after comparing, the ones I have been using, still are excellent. A wide deep sound stage, excellent dynamics and transparency, and the bottom line, the amp is musical and that is what it is all about.

jamato8There is no doubt in my mind about the quality of this unit. Manley has a reputation for excellence throughout the audio industry, from their pro audio products to their home audio products. Other manufacturers can only hope to recieve such praise across the board for their products. It is ugly though IMO. Do I want one? You bet, but alas, money is an obstacle for me.
