I would be sending my order if they give an option of buying all three band options per watch. Otherwise, I would have to buy all three. Nice looking design.

Reminds me of a Straton Curve watch I used to own with Seiko VK64 Meca-Quartz Hybrid movement I am really digging this one and I might shell more $$ and go for the Chrono thanks to RayF pictures and link the Chrono athletically looks very Well proportioned and symmetric between the subdials, date and logo.. I like The name Marchand is not bad too, besides it’s the Founder’s name it’s French for Merchant or Entrepreneur (your French lesson of the day:) ... not bad at all

I say it's a deal! Unlike my harder-to-please buddy @JAone , I maintain what makes a deal "a deal" is less what I'm personally willing to pay, and more what the market is currently charging for the same item; in this case Amazon, who's asking you to fork over an extra SIXTY BUCKS for the same watch:

As to the watch itself, I like it. Of course, my first reaction was--this watch needs pushers and a couple of sub dials to really complete the look--and what do you know, I WAS RIGHT! It also comes in a chronograph version:

I like both, but of course they are quartz and that always brings out the anti-quartz crowd, and then I have to rush in and try to defend them--remember it's not a quartz watch's fault that it was born quartz, so don't take it out on them! And then we have to get into the Salita vs ETA thing again, and well you know--it gets heavy. So I say, buy it on looks first, then price, then the movement--but I know there are A LOT of folks around here who do the exact reverse when buying a watch! So who's right? Silly question--ME of course! I end up with good looking watches that tell time, and they end up with funny looking watches that tell time (oh--and mine cost less too, so I can buy a few more in the long run ;- ) If I didn't already have too many damn watches (and unemployment in the United States wasn't at Great Depression-era highs), I'd probably buy one of these.

RayFThe strap looks a heck of a lot better in your pics, I have one of the orangey/tan straps , love them initially and they then kinda grate on you after a while; maybe that's a reason some people don't see the quality at this price, and yes I do always look for that 65 - 70 % discount plus deal!! But I do agree looks a lot better as chrono , Drop has had it ,think it was around the $189; maybe you can correct me on price as I seem to remember your interest relating to the Geckota option which I am watching to see if there's giveaway deal I can take advantage of to try the product. Still trying to figure out origin of production as they seem to be marketed from UK.

JAoneCase is very reminiscent of the Geckota chronograph I have. Wouldn’t be surprised at all to learn they began life in the same factory.

Love the case shape and tan leather perforated band, nice casual watch: but being a cheapskate I don't think the price is up to Drop good deal standards. Somewhere under $80 would be more comfortable for a straight forward quartz, mineral crystal watch. It would depend on the quality of the strap.

JAoneI like the style overall. Seiko Recraft vibe. Price could be better but nice looking watch.

Dmanjapan Can you/did you find a better price, or are you just talking through your hat again? PS: Lots nicer than the Recraft—which costs nearly double and comes on cheap NATO strap—I have one.
