Would a pair of these that do not have the detachable cable be as good as these with the detachable feature? I mean if I can buy a used pair for $300 would that be better than spending $470 for the detachable model? The used pair sounded incredible.

UsehernameBased on everything I have read about these (the TR-X00), each different wood version should sound identical to their respective TH-X00 counterpart; the only sound differences should just be the normal slight variations in any production run of headphones. The only reported change was the removable cable.
