JT134I saw that as well.. Talk about misleading. I bought the cavali amp just for this and now I'm not gonna get it for another 5 months? What gives.

JT134I have knowingly joined drops previously that were going to be extended waits. But these were products that I would consider special. I just can't see a 5 month wait for an entry level headphone. That is why I hadn't joinEd for them in the past. When I saw the wait was a few weeks this time, I decided I'd jump in. Now it seems its gonna be significantly longer than a few weeks.

DpcoffeyI'm also in for a refund. WTH why did they change the delivery date to so much later? With VAT, shipping, import fees, etc. it's not even that much cheaper than HD650s here in Germany. Saving 40 bucks is not worth waiting 5 months.. And that's not the purchasing agreement we made ...

DpcoffeyApparently they will allow cancelation and have responded numerous times elsewhere in this discussion in the past couple days. It seems that it was an innocent mistake on their part but affected many people. I for one don't always read the discussion of items. If the item discription says it'll ship in 3 weeks, I expect that it's accurate.

BananiqSaturn and Amazon sell them for 315€ with shipping included at the moment without any sales. (But they have been sold for under 250€ in the past, see here https://geizhals.eu/?phist=65232 )
Here on Massdrop you pay 215$ with shipping and then an additional ~45$ for VAT, import taxes and additional fees in the customs office. So even without any deals like black friday, etc. the difference becomes very small.

Psychofox$215 are about 175€. Even after you pay 19% import tax plus import fees you will be at about 210€, which is over 100€ less than the current asking price.
I have more than enough money to spend even 500€ on a headphone, but I never would. My JBL LSR305s cost me 205€ for a pair. Spending about 200€ on a pair of good headphones and then another 100€ on a decent amp means I will have spent somewher between 300-350€ in total.
Buying the HD 650 here in Germany would already set me back 315€ without the amp.
