Product Description
A collaboration with Empire Ears, this is a new iteration of the Zeus XIV: an engineering marvel and the first 14-driver in-ear monitor ever made. This version uses the same drivers as the company’s former flagship—two bass, six midrange, and six treble—along with an identical seven-way crossover circuit to tune the drivers’ frequency response Read More

I love these IEMS HOWEVER! After a few years of listening I notice a distinct crackle from one earpiece! I’d like to get it replaced, but how?

This brand really impresses me. My "ones that got away" pair of IEM's are the Legend Evos as I sampled them and thought they sounded so clean, wide, and comfortable. It truly brought out the colors in the hip hop, jazz, and R&B I was listening to. I am currently trying a pair of my buddy's Odin's and was wondering if anyone's had the pleasure of trying the sound signature and it's made streaming TV a much more cinematic, immersive experience. How do you feel the Zeus compares to their higher end Evo/Odin sets?

Empire Ears would not repair a defective item. Not sure if it's because of Drop but very disappointed and would never buy a product from Empire based on the lack of customer service. It probably would have been a 20 minute fix. You can't teach customer service unless they are made in China and they have no engineers in the United States.

rslataraI'm in the same boat. I was having issues with loose cables (if I looked at them funny they'd come off the cable), but I decided I'd just live with it because it's a hassle for me to return things. Anyway, they hopped off their cable, hit the ground and broke. I reached out to EE who told me to reach out to MD who told me to reach out to EE. EE says they can't repair them because they "don't have the parts," but it seems like they're still making these? Whole thing is weird--I asked EE who they would recommend for the repair since they were unwilling, and the reply was, "Sorry but we don't know who could work on this IEM." I don't even know how to reply to that.

The reason your staggering is the weight of fourteen drivers. You would use a level staff, much like the surveyors use, to keep a level head.

Anyone have the Moondrop S8, and these to compare. Using the graph comparison tool on crinacle. But that just specs. While it looks like each has the upper hand in certain freq range. Just wondering if i should bother waiting for the Moondrop S8 to come back or get the Zeus. Not really in a huge hurry, but if im gonna spend some serious money on some IEMs, i wanna make sure i get the last one ill need.

I remember the time when Massdrop just came out, there used to be so many cool new products coming out, people talk about the company that would take orders from a bunch of people and send it to the brand, then we would get cool brand name items for cheaper! 5 years later, I only see the old run down earphones/watches/knives/sunglasses that no one ever buys anymore, the same products that just keep rotating once per year and so on. What happened to the DROP? How can one business with no new products even stay afloat? Where are the cool new brand name products? Where is the big order towards cool new items? I look at the past 500 emails from the DROP and there are the same 50 items that just keep rotating around and back there is absolutely nothing new, huh this is so disappointing sorry...!

Sorry if this has already been asked and answered: I would like to switch out the ear tips from my Massdrop Zeus , the only info I found was in the manual that they use E type ear tips. The only E type ear tips I found are silicone. They keep slipping out of my ears, and I've tried the different sizes included. I found that the foam ear tips I used with Shure were more snug. I have yet to find foam ear tips compatible with Empire Ears Zeus. Can anyone link or recommend a brand and size? What is the nozzle size of the massdrop Zeus? Is it different from Zeus-R, Zeus-XR, Zeus-XIV? The folks at Comply recommend SmartCore, but as another has posted, there is a pdf recommending 500 core size. Thanks for any input you guys can provide
