interesting. the lack of FR comparison with HD600 make it looks like 150ohm hd600.

More like a modded HD660S, with less bass and more forward.

Look at these graphs, they're close to the 660s but with less bass, a bit more mid-treble (5.5kHz) and a some less upper treble (7kHz+). I guess that'll make them sound more mid-forward and bright (less "veiled"), but not that much "analytical" and less harsh (if the 600 sounded harsh for you), something like a brighter 650 without the "bass oomph".

As a owner of 20-30 chi-fi IEM's (most of them bought because I read some positive reviews and/or fell on the hype train), and owning the 6xx, I can feel your saltiness. Look, some more info on the 58x subject: https://diyaudioheaven.wordpress.com/headphones/measurements/brands-s-se/hd-58x-jubilee-massdrop/
If you already own the HD600, and wanna try something different in this price range, maybe you could buy the Massdrop x Hifiman HE4xx (almost the same than the HE400i). You'll need a decent SS amp to drive them properly, but I read some really good stuff about them (and the usual price on them is 50% more expensive, at least!). Some info here: https://www.innerfidelity.com/content/massdrop-x-hifiman-he4xx-planar-magnetic-headphones.
P.S.: sorry, now you'll have to spend $169 on these cans :) so do I!

TL;DR: Memt x5, v-shaped warm sound under $20 on AliExpress, small and comfy, you can't go wrong with these.
Chi-fi IEMs with warm sound? Hmm I don't have many warm sounding (doh)... With a V-shaped warm-ish sound and a super comfy fit, the Memt X5 are one of my favourite budget IEMs, but the slightly recessed mids might hold you back. I use them as my workout headphones, and for the price (under 20 bucks) you can't go wrong. The legendary KZ ATE are nice, dark and warm. They sell for under $10. Other notable warm IEMs are the Einsear T2, Tin Audio T515 and KZ ZS3 (these ones are said to improve with the Slater mod, easy to perform).
Warmth aside, some other of my favourite chi-fi IEMs are: Tin Audio T2, TFZ Exclusive 5, Seahf AWK-009, Tennmak Dulcimer, KZ ZS5, Xiaomi Piston 3... I think I might have a problem. And on another subject, a well-known warm headphones (not IEMs) that I love are the Koss Porta Pro. Initially I felt a bit dissapointed, they have a huge treble rolloff, but after some listening I feel like the treble gained a bit of presence (maybe it's just my brain, I'm still a bit skeptical on the burn-in subject) and they sound a bit like a "Lo-Fi HD650".

Speaking of chi-fi IEMs, two really nice webpages for this topic are www.audiobudget.com and www.aproear.co.uk. First one even has a small growing community around, even on Facebook, and Igor (the owner of the whole project) is a really nice guy.

haha nice. looks like we came to a similar conclusion, but i got less iems. I got kz's zs5 v1, zs3 and ate with zs3 being my favorite. will definitely look into Slater mod. Speaking of Koss, yes, they are damn fun. I also bought the kph30i off Massdrop. Enjoy every bit of it. Oh yeah audiobudget is good. bought some of the iem because of Igor. Will check out aproear.co.uk too! Thanks for the advises!
