T_viguursIf you were using a phone that didn't sound like crap you would be okay. Phones like LG's V10/20/30 have great dacs and competent amps on board. The iProduct sure is pretty, though.
Still...an outboard amp is your best bet.

I’m a big fan of listening to music, but my main method of listening is by streaming it on my phone using spotify, but I‘ve been searching for an entry level high quality audiophile pair of headphones.
From what I’ve seen and read in this community as starter the Sennheiser 58X or the 6XX are some of the best entry level headphones. Since I’m not an expert and just listen to music for fun using my phone which of the two would be the better choice, also I don’t own an Amp/DAC. The phone I’m currently using is the Iphone 6S plus if that also helps.
