Simple, does what it's supposed to
Nifty little macro pad for those who need some extra keys. RGB looks good, switches feel right, though software lacks in certain places (definitely workable, just takes some figuring out here and there). Overall a pretty great pad at a pretty reasonable price point. Would recommend.

Great macro pad that I find very useful. The software that can be downloaded allows easy rebounding of keys, which I use for Discord muting/deafening! Building it was fairly simple with the provided instructions (though I'm not the best at soldering).

I really wanted something like this to have some extra macro keys, and it is perfect for that. There are some limitations in what it can do and how it can be programmed, but overall I really enjoy using this product.

"Programmable" feels a bit generous. There are many limitations of what you can do in the software and it feels like there's no plans to expand the functionality. If you get this, try to flash some other firmware on it immediately.

This is a nice little macropad. I bought the DIY kit version and it was my first time soldering together a keyboard. I expected to struggle, but I found that it was pretty easy and the entire assembly process took no longer than 10 minutes. The software is pretty good and the build quality is awesome. Would definitely recommend.

I'm really impressed with this macropad. It takes about 20 min to assemble and solder. There is a Youtube video link on the box it comes in. I took another 30 min to lube the Cherry RGB silents (now even more silent). The "default" config is a set of media keys on each layer, so you'll need to pull down the software from maxkeyboard.com. I am really impressed with the software. It worked perfectly for me and is easy to learn. There are Youtube instructions for programming as well - Search "TheMaxKeyboard". I attached a screen shot. This is SO much easier than the other "community" programming tools such as QMK or kiibohd used for other programmable keyboards. No firmware to download, don't have to flash everytime you make a change. Just set the RGB, record your macros, assign keys, etc, then click Save. Done! Now I just have 5 layers of macros and key assignments to setup. :D Oh, you can launch programs with keys as well. The RGB looks really good and very bright. You can adjust the brightess and even turn off completely, do invidual key colors (in custom mode), and adjust the under lighting separate from the key led's (again in custom mode). The standard effects are all there if you want them: Fade, Rainbow wave, breathing, Fade in/out, etc. I've got each of my layers set differently to easily distinguish them. BTW, as of the date of this review, they have them in stock on their website above for basically the same price as this drop was.

Physically, the product is well made. I'd like if the board itself had smaller bezels, but the aluminum used looks high quality and it's construction is sturdy. I used a few stripes of the marble D-Brand Skin and a sticker to give it's edges some personality. Technically, the software is miles beyond what it used to be (I found pictures of their old UI- it was rough) though I still run into stability issues from time to time. Nothing worth reconsidering the device, just minor bugs like menu's failing to render properly when attempting to change macros that already have many commands. Besides that, it's pretty great. I use really long/repeating macros to collect/hatch Pokemon eggs and it works like a charm.
Also, per key RGB settings are pretty nice- though RGB LEDs always disappoint in the purple spectrum.
