AmitseIt depends on what you get. The P2 won't need an amp, but the other 2 will.

Alright, even though I already own a PX, and have plenty of others. I just can't hold myself back this time. This is a really good price for a P2. And I have no problem getting a second PX, or a P1. Definitely one of the best blue boxes.

I was fortunate enough to get the Pinnacle PX! However, I now have a dilemma of sorts. Either my phone and my X-99A motherboard cant handle these, or the bass on these is very subdued. I can still tell that its there, but the mids and highs have far more presence. This was me "sampling" hi-fi audio, I fully expected the P2's, never bothered looking at the specs for the PX's/P1's.
Edit: I have a pair of AKG M220 Pro's that I use daily, and they have a higher impedance, get louder, have more present bass. I guess the PX's just have subdued bass? This is all very new to me, not sure how to troubleshoot/check these things beyond swapping devices around.

I received a Massdrop Pinnacle PX. Packaging is nice. I'll report back after I give them a listen.

Got the p1s, pretty stoked, would have been happy with the p2s anyway :) Build quality is impressive, the weight to the driver is very noticeable. Having the spare cable is nice, but will just use chinese cables for daily driving.
