I absolutely love this keyboard kit, it gave me a chance at finer solder skills. It was so much fun to put together, and the stock firmware is fantastic. I have wondered about reprogramming, but I'm not sure that I would know to switch anything. Mito Godspeed keycaps are in the works, and I'll upload some glamour shots once she gets dressed up.
15/10 - Would buy again, but beware once you build one, you'll want to build more.
Keweenaw_CopperI purchased another minivan at the beginning of the summer, this time I decided to go with the heavier Cherry MX Clears. Are solder joints strong enough to withstand the force of pulling keycaps? I'm trying to figure out if I should just go without a plate this time.
adaszkoYou can still get these on thevankeyboards.com, and they are releasing new versions, I think they are up to version 5 of the Minivan, and you can find 40% boards on Amazon and Ali express, also check out http://www.40percent.club for lots of great 30/40s
I gotta say, I paid $165 for this here, with switches and keys, feet and a cable. I just purchased a second from Vankeebs website for $250 and only got the case, PCB and stabalizers. This is a great board but I think the company is gouging it's customers based on it's popularity.
