Mythical Design, Musical Response

On the outside, the MMR GáeBolg takes its cues from Celtic Mythology—sporting a precision-cut, tribal pattern in red over a matte-black aluminum shell. On the inside, this IEM is decidedly more modern. Centered on MMR’s four-way electronics system—comprised of high-end passive components and five balanced-armature drivers—the GáeBolg’s response is even, with coverage and focus from the low end of the mix all the way to the highs. Adding even more to the acoustic performance, the enclosure is designed to avoid phase and resonance artifacts and provide a delicate soundstage for your music. Choose the Lite package with a standard 3.5-millimeter cable in, or upgrade to the Complete package for an added Eletech Prudence SPC Cable with premium components and a tuning that complements the GáeBolg.

It's the name of Cuchulainn's spear, from Celtic mythology. I think it's pronounced "guy bowl" or "guy bowlya."Read More
