build quality is generally great, except that even attempting to remediate with aftermarket cables, the right channel would intermittently cut out.
the IEMs are solid-to-a-bit-heavy, but with some comply foam the isolation was reasonable and fit was good for casual listening; would not recommend for active/commuting use as they're likely to keep falling out due to all the gravity.
sound-wise felt quite warm & relaxed, but due to channel issues i can't comment on soundstage/spatial resolution.
I also own the Kanas Pro from Moondrop and I enjoyed them but felt they lacked a little bass. These improve on that slightly and with the rolled off treble they are a pleasure to listen to for long periods. The KXXS are a bit heavy but with proper fitting tips they stay in just fine. I would not recommend for active persons but for casual listening they are great. I found them comfortable enough to lay in bed and roll on my side without issues. The KXXS are nicely built but do show fingerprints quite easily. Just be prepared to wipe them down periodically. Overall a nice set.
The shipping was fast but I'm too lazy to leave review for others XD.Quality is good and I will take consider of change the wire of it because the original wire can't perform this headphone well
The IEMs are lovely, the pack-ins extensive, and sound quality fantastic. I liked the carrying case and overall experience using them. It was a good upgrade from my existing entry-level IEMs. They are fantastic value for the price and I would recommend buying them.
However, I cannot recommend you buy them from Drop. The left IEM experienced a severe reduction in volume 33 days from when I started using them. The number of days is important, because Drop only honors a 30 day warranty, and they absolutely would not budge on this point. While the product comes with a manufacturer's warranty (in Chinese), Drop informed me that this warranty is not at all transferable to the customer, as they (Drop) are the direct buyer and were unwilling to take advantage of it. As I was only buying through a third party, I could not even exercise this option.
Please look elsewhere, where customer service is more willing to stand by their product.
dastardlylemonhi, man. i advise you to replace the filter mesh on the nozzle with the supplies inside your KXXS package. they supply 3 pairs just in case this problem occurs. Replace them gently, i guess everyone can do this. It will fix your imbalance channel. Hope this help
First of all, they fit very well to my ears and are very comfortable, the blue carrying case is a nice addition and presentation is good overall.
As for the build, they're a bit weighty and are very well built. The polished angular design is simply stunning, even if it attracts fingerprints like nothing else.
Also I should mention they sound amazing, easily the best sounding overall compared to my other IEMs... and I have a lot of them.
The product was delivered on Sept 9 and one earbud stopped working in under 3 months. For a premium product (earbuds at that price) that’s clearly the result of a product defect. One (and only one) doesn’t work. No difference in use and not excessively used, it just slowly stopped working.
The warranty is for 30 days (Drop backed). No support from the manufacturer.
Look elsewhere if you want peace of mind, they don’t back their product (why should you?).
Hi man....
I couldn’t help but to notice this is the second time you replied with the exact same suggestion to 2 posts. Both times your advice just didn’t make any sense. Those filters are nothing more than wax guards to help keep earwax from clogging the tube. Just my observation.
UserkebThe same thing happened to me and yes the suggestion works perfectly, I do not know if it is working for you or not but it worked on mine pairs. The suggestion seems ridiculous but it works. (After the volume dropped in my pair it took me 1 month to look at the nozzle and I saw that one of them was more close the other one so I changed them and it worked perfectly.)
