Sounds good but connectors suck.
Great sound and comfort but the connectors got bent really easily.

Sound, feel and cord all nicely done
These just feel really good in your hands and ears. Extremely good fit and build. The provided cord is great and I don’t see a need to upgrade it. They are very good at following the Harman Curve and adapt well to EQ/PEQ. Amazingly deep and detailed bass and sub bass. Midrange and highs are crystal clear and easily adjusted to taste with zero signs of distortion or driver stress setting in. They are smooth with a slight tilt towards bass out of the box. They are the best all around balanced sound out of the box with no Eq. I would go so far as to say that they are good to go for those that don’t use EQ/PEQ. With EQ they are brilliant and seem to have no weaknesses. The drivers just cruise along squeaky clean with very little noticeable distortion under high levels of boost from eq. They represent a very high value for the price point. They come with two different carry cases and lots of tips and tools. The bass is best when using isolation memory foam tips. Very highly recommended. They have a professional level feel and sound. Every frequency is crystal clear and yet balanced where they don’t get trilly or Thin screechy sounding. Can listen to these for hours and hours….

A step from from the sub $100 bracket
The sound is solid and the sound profile is remincient of the 650/6xx. It was a warm tint to it with solid midrange and treble that hold its own. It is also more technically advanced than those cheaper headphones, songs sound cleaner, the instrument separation is better and imagine in an improvement. Definately I would recommend these but only when they are at a discount since the kato exists, is the same price and is an upgrade to the kxxs/kxxx family, even if slightly.

Subtle Quality, Elegance
The earphones have incredible highs and mids, the bass is IEM bass, but you can tune it out and balance it. Such a good pair for the price, however. Stellar build quality, the cable that comes with them is well made with no defects, high quality braided material. The IEMs themselves are contoured in a pleasing way, with a geometric chiseled look. They come with all sizes of silicone earbud tips for small to large ears. I have had my first over-ear cable experience with the KXXX, but it has a comfortable, soft plastic surrounding the cable. My favourite feature is how understated they are and how low profile they are. Truly a pair of IEMs for the stealth audiophile. 2 weeks from US to Australia.

Sleek daily drivers
Purchased these to replace Starfields. Unassuming with the all black design, relatively comfortable for long sessions, and nice tight bass. Enjoying them with the KXXS Parametric EQ.

Great sound, crappy cable
The sound is amazing, especially for the price! But the cable has crimped above the Y split in a few places, which makes it had to slide up the little plastic piece that holds the IEMs together when you’re not using them (to reduce tangles). I’d still recommend it, just may need to replace the cable after a while.

Why spend more, seriously?
Maybe 5 years ago (and even more recently), I spent a tonne of money that could have been allocated literally anywhere else better in the pursuit of better sound. While that has provided some perspective, and at the time, the ChiFi scene was inconsistent and at the stage of "wow, this is pretty good... for $80". The differences are now so minimal, and the majority could chalked up to the "I spent a fortune bias" that Kahn and co, teach about in in Thinking Fast & Slow. This is a great example, but also too, are several others I have bought both here and on Amazon. I personally remember those original Tin HiFi things, still being sold, had a few professional audiophiles drooling over. A little rolled off near the top - just enough to ensure nil sibilance which is excellent. The bass is good, particularly the sub-bass. The mids DESTROY. I can listen to these for hours - all day in fact. I love the build quality. The anodised black is just a great choice. Upgrade the cable at some point, or carry a spare. Don't obviously spend $600 on unicorn tail hair, just a $30 Linsol with some metal around the ends, so you can safely shove them in your pocket. Drop's insane pricing is normally matched with cheap cables - which is fine. (I would rather that than the reverse.) These cables have a nice matt black matching cotton cover over the cables, but has the raised plastic bits that are so susceptible to breaking (if shoved in the pocket, Noble ship with them too) this is not an an isolated thing on Drop. Recessing the connectors is just an obvious trend. Anyway, cables, WHO CARES! $152 is just insane. Buy them. Tip:Sell expensive IEMS and use the funds to buy bargain shares at present or high quality crypto for while, with the difference. (Even if both drop badly for a year, it still isn't as bad as having IEMS break that cost a fortune and fail to sound noticeably better than these or others on this site, I feel are just as good.) There will be versions of "me" emerging who automatically equate $2000 with FAR higher quality and FAR better sound. Rationally the diminishing return effect is just so pronounced now, the damn graph it is near inverted.

Stealth!!!
Picked these up for their sexy looks. I’ve been pairing them with the FiiO M11 Plus using Tidal app and surprised with the sound quality for this price. Initially thought they were uncomfortable and wasn’t impressed but after some break in time and getting used to the fitment they are a major go to quote Flossy Carter.

I was expecting better sound, also one of the connectors rattle.
I would have been much happier with these if not for the rattling connector problem.
