Please stop calling EVERYTHING “EDC”. This is not an Every Day Carry item. This is a fancy wooden change jar that sits on a desk or dresser. Maybe there’s someone out there that will carry this thing around with them but it sure ain’t me.

Unless the meaning of EDC has changed recently, can someone explain how in the world this qualifies as Every Day Carry? This looks pretty obviously like something that you don't ever carry, but you always leave at home.
Am I missing something? Or is this just incorrectly named?
I can see from the photos and video what appears to be applied "bottom" of some sort on these containers. Can anyone say what it is and perhaps provide a photo?
Also is there a larger version suitable for storing my collection of Royal Mint Kilo Coins (currently using several milk crates, but they're so...unsightly)?

They've got a mahogany chest for pens in Writing... it's not a writing utensil it's a place to store them.
They've got a cache/display valet in EDC/Watches/Blades... it's for storing things like that.
This is for collecting change which accumulates in your pocket over the course of a day and... storing it. Rub two brain cells together and EDC makes perfect sense.

The EDC stands for "Easily Deposit Coins". It's not designed for the Every Day Carry of Ethylene DiChloride at the Electric Daisy Carnival, but no one is stopping you if you insist on doing so while proclaiming it in every damn comment.
