They are including people selling off the individual sealed decks piecemeal. If you scroll down it shows you the EV of each paper deck and it looks like the lowest is $40 at this point. I'm betting that will drop as more of these hit the market, but the set will be worth more that $13 for the planechase cards alone.
If you actually look at the page you're linking, $12.94 is the price for ONE of the four decks included in this set, and doesn't include any of the planes or the dice.
I was out in the middle of nowhere, WV on Black Friday enjoying the first quiet holiday with my family in forever. It didn't occur to me the price would ever be lower than MSRP.
At $149.99, this passes my idea of a valuable purchase. Sure the planes alone would be worth $200, but...when am I really going to sell those?
The prefab decks don't really add value, either.
At <$100? Yes, plox.
OrangebottleI had 4 friends chip in $15 apiece and I gave each of them one of the sixty-card decks. Paid $30 for the planar cards and tokens, though the only time I use them is when I play with them.
IzeTheRubeYour best bet is the Ultimate Guard oversized inner and outer sleeves. Now good luck finding them, though. In a pinch the UltraPro Oversized Magic sleeves (the ones with the MtG card back art graphic) will work till you can get your hands on the UG ones.
Normally Massdrop MTG offers are never actually deals. However, this is the best deal anywhere for this product right now. I just got in for 4 of them!
