Great Price, Not So Much On The Product
Bought this as a Christmas present for a girlfriend's daughter. Initially, the device worked perfectly, and was well-suited to her (other than her incredible ability to lose a stylus. Not sure why mobile devices aimed towards kids come with such easily lost parts). But after a month, the tablet would have issues with stability (random crashes, failure to boot up sometimes). A month after that, the tablet wouldn't finish booting. Not even a factory reset or trying to get into Android software itself could fix it (I thought I had fixed it at one point, but I merely got it to fully boot before crashing at the home menu). I took a calculated risk with a refurbished product. I knew this was probable, and for $20, I'm not upset. I just think this product was probably not very well made to start, and refurbishing it was mostly a band-aid solution. Cheers to Drop though on what was honestly not too bad a deal. They didn't make the device, they (as far as my best guess) just found a way to help out that manufacturer with selling their stuff at a price that isn't unfair to the customer (the product, however...). Also they probably didn't have the full picture on how bad these things actually were, so I can't really blame them at all.
