I own an original pair of C3s, which, when broken in, are a an exceptional monitor at $600/pair. So, that being said, what is the advantage of "carbon fibre," and is this material, save for the aluminum drivers, used throughout the cabinet as well?
These are good for $500-600 a pair but not more. The high end is a bit forward, and being a sealed speaker if your room has a bass null these will sound thin. The Elac Uni-Fi UB5 is better balanced and the newer UB52 is on sale from time to time, beating the C3's value and probably sound wise, too. I own the C3 and UB5.
