Definitely very suspect listing. Ortofon is very particular about which dealers are authorized and which are not, and they list them all on the "Where to Buy" section of their site. (Massdrop is not listed!!) I know this, because I purchased a cartridge from a quirky seller who was specifically not listed, and it did NOT qualify for any type of warranty. After that experience, the next one I bought was from one of the sellers they have listed on their site - they have upwards of a thousand dealers, so it's not hard to find one that is authorized.

hwildeMeaning what? That these are fakes, or that they are legitimate but carry no warranty?

BIG_DaveI'd assume these are legitimate, but aren't warrantied unless specifically stated. Including tax, I paid $150 -$200 more than this drop for the Bronze ... solely for the warranty, support, professional installation, and shots of bourbon with the owner of my local authorized Hi-Fi shop.
