Sound is ok but pairing overly complex and even turning on/off an issue. PSB equipment typically if high quality so this is unusual for them and I hope v2 is better.
While I truly love PSBs headphones, I find these true wireless earphones to be a dud. Lack of bass, without clarity in mids and highs. Pairing was difficult. These unfortunately are a no go for me.
Cuts out constantly, sound quality is mediocre, mic is muddy and too quiet, people I'm talking to complain they can't hear me. Went back to my wired ear buds within 2 days.
I have a hard time putting them on and they make my ears sore, they are slow to pair and I had the right earbud fail to pair the first time and had to look up instructions online. They are not full duplex apparently, if you pair with Macbook and attempt to use them as a mic then the right earbud goes silent and only the button control works. Without right side no mic as well.
To start, these were difficult to pair with my phone. There were many failed attempts, resets, trials and errors, but I was finally able to get them paired. Since then, they have worked well, with only an occasional dropout. The only real nitpick I have with them ongoing is the placement of the power button. It makes them diffiicult to turn off sometimes. As for the sound quality, it's fantastic. Shockingly good for an athletic styled true wireless in-ear. They have a forward presentation, with a very big soundstage. They are full-bodied, with great, tonal, not overly heavy bass. The midrange is detailed and a bit forward, and the treble is clean and extended. They are more dynamic than most in-ears. The soundstage is really the most amazing thing, reminding me more listening to my open air stereo than a tiny ear plug. They might be a bit finicky at first, but they are well worth it for the sound quality.
