Too little too late. I like Psb, they always make solid products. Would've sold thousands of units on Amazon if they were priced like this when they were introduced a few years ago. I thought about these back then because of the hooks, but everything seem to be too outdated. You can't simply convince customers with BT 4.2 & inconvenient charging method in 2020. There are just way too many appealing TWS in the competition.

Kumonomukou I literally clicked on this listing just so that I can see the bad reviews and comments. 🤣 these scumbag audio companies need to stop selling 2015-2017 tech in 2020. I can get way better off-brand/no name stuff on Ali express for 1/10th of the price.

weird, never seen any true wireless earphones without a portable charging case even for those in the price range of $40s and $50s. It must be very incovenient to take it to the gym as something such as a portable batteries are required to be taken.

Charles_SSIt's actually not a huge issue if the battery can last 8+ hrs. Look at TRN BT20s or BT20s Pro adapters. They might not be most convenient in terms of charging, but I never seem to have battery issue with them.

Well, these are a little fiddly and different in their operation. The pairing and charging process could certainly be easier. However, once set up, these are extremely comfortable and sound amazing! I've been listening to Shure SE425's for a number of years now, and they have served as my benchmark. I've had a number of TW headphones, and the best I've been able to say about them is that sound comes out, and every once in a while a pair isn't killed by my sweat while running. These PSB's are incredible, and in some ways more enjoyable than my Shures. They have deeper and more potent bass, but not overdone. Bassheads look elsewhere, this is still audiophile bass. They are also more dynamic, and the top end is much more open. While not as razor sharp, the soundstage is actually larger and more natural than my Shures. They are surprisingly detailed, but less analytical and more fun to listen to. These have far exceeded my expectations, and at $79 now, I think they are a screaming bargain.

Sorry about that, I meant to write FA9 not f89!! What Chifi sets have you listened to I meant, sorry again. The thing about these older sets is that they are using old technology, Kz ZSX for example uses 5 BAs and 1 DD, much more components than older sets. Now I am aware that it's not only about the components and in fact even sets that have a lot of drivers can sound awful but a set that has more drivers will sound better than a set that has less driver if they are both made with the saying level of skill. These single or double driver sets will not be able to match the full potential of what these Chifi iems have accomplished. The sub 50 dollar Chifi iems are probably pretty bad/mediocre. But the Kz ZSX blew my mind away. No bloat that I could notice and like I said compares within 5% of my 550 dollar FA9s that have similar components minus the DD. I'd just stay very far away from Shure, they might sound better than bad sets, but they're not competing with the top 50+ dollar chifis right now. I can speak from experience as well having owned the 425 and Ety 4xr as well as 2xr, these older iems just are behind in bass/sound stage.

League544I've tried Mee, and they sounded pretty good for the 2 weeks they worked... I'm hesitant to waste a lot of time and money on questionable products. I am intrigued by Moondrop, though. I'm seriously thinking about upgrading, though, like the 846s. The comfort and durability, as well as the sound, makes the Shures worth it for me.

These seem as if they'd be useful - if you're the kinda person who can't get aNy other type of in-ear TWS type to stay put. Though, those battery extensions sitting on my occipital lobes would send me in search of a better, more operable solution, if I had such an issue. I'm sure there are nicer TWS buds for the $$ that'd solve a difficult fit problem.

I've had a BT 5.0 pair of these by another name for about 2 years now along with two different models from the same distributor. Mine easily last closer to 8 hours on a single charge. I also have the larger model which last about 12 hours. Not sure about these because they are BT 4.1, but the 5.0 sound decent and when using them for calls...WOW! People literally couldn't tell I was on a headset. IMO, I think the tech in these would make them a pass.

Five hours battery life, two hours to charge, and no charging case is not impressive in 2020. The IPX5 water-resistant body is nice, but I'd worry about water getting in through the exposed USB ports. Pairing them sounds like a hassle. Unless these sound terrific (and the three posted reviews use words like 'decent,' 'not the most accurate,' and, my favorite, 'a delight for the mass consumer'), I'm not really sure who the target market is.

I believe "split cable thing" requires much less effort than saying what it actually is. Cause, honestly, I cant be stuffed (I dont like doing stuff that doesn't need to be done) and everyone knows what we are talking about.

You need to plug them in separately, they aren't encased in a nice single hard block and would rattle around in that massive carry bag. The reason that the TWS is a big trend is because of convenience. It's a way of making a single compact thing that you can just throw in your pocket turn into two discrete wireless earbuds. I call this "separate earphones" because they aren't a nice system like every other TWS earbud, rather separate earphones with a generic case that is bulky, you need to zip it up and it doesn't charge them so you need to take them out and plug in 3 different things (because most of the time you would just have a charging cable permanently plugged in, but you would need to unplug that to plug in the ungainly splitter cable if you are low on usb port real-estate.
