IDK about value compare to other sites, or shipping costs compared to elsewhere, but I got this on the last (successful) Drop a couple of months ago, and it's the best knife for 40 bucks I've ever had, the steel is great, and I love the shape of the blade, handy around the house for sure, much more so than a drop point, and the action on this is really smooth. Feels like a much more expensive knife to me...I would stick with the micarta it is a sure grip, but have not tried the carbon fiber, I just imagine it would be more slippery . I would honestly put this right up against the Ferrum Forge models that Drop puts out, and at a ridiculous price, it has similar features with ceramic ball bearings, very similar steel types, but imo a much better set of scales, surer grip and warmer to the touch. I prefer this one in my pocket though I love my Ferrum Forge Crux as well, this is just nicer to use imo due to the hard cold titanium scales on the Crux, I really feel like quality is comparable and this is less than a third of the price so that's saying something, whether you get it here or elsewhere, I would get this one in my collection pronto.. the Crux is a bit heavier and you can feel the larger heft of the blade, so they really complement each other and this fills that gap for a knife that's just a bit smaller, the perfect everyday carry imo, where the Crux is a wonderful knife but not something I will carry around every day, it's bigger and heavier and just isn't as comfortable to carry...

Really disappointed Drop cancelled this order. You offered a product, I paid, you held my money for two months and then you cancel the order because it is back ordered? What kind of business model is that? I’m done with Drop.

JoeGravesYeah and the funny thing is that if you had tried to cancel that order, because they were so late in shipping it, they would have told you 'no I can't do that'.. . but when they want to cancel, it's pretty easy all of a sudden

JoeGravesDid you get an email saying it was canceled? Mine says it shipped but the tracker hasn't updated since the 15th.

Got any updates on the shipping? It's been almost a month since the Estimated Shipping date, and still nothing. Any ideas when this will be going out, or at least where we are at on a new projected ship date?
Any updates on the most recent batch?

This price is about 25% lower than I can find it on other sites. I had to literally get to the point where I could click on PURCHASE before I was told what the shipping charges were. THAT SUCKS, DROOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Are you listening. $5.00 is more than I have encountered on any other site for a single knife. I even got a Cold Steel Hold Out XL shipped for free and it was under $100. WMK ships all orders for free. There are times when I wonder what can be the reason that I always check here for deals. Could it be blind optimism? Could it be greed? Could it be that I'm in denial? Perhaps Droop is in denial, too. I am still considered this, but the fact that SMKW has the CJRB Talla on for $35.00 with four dollars shipping attracts me like a moth to a flame. And KC has the Steel Will Tasso on for $159. (That's M390.) And I would have it in hand in less that a week. I'm Jay R, and I approve of this business model.

I've had mixed results with QSP but for $39, Micarta and 14C28N is an attractive combination. Unfortunately, this item doesn't have free shipping like other knives I've bought from Drop. It also doesn't ship for like a month. I could get the same knife for like a dollar more shipped to my door within a couple of days. =(

This is now my favorite small flipper, got mine from the September drop early last week, and imagine my surprise to see them dropping again already....I love the micarta scales, this knife feels very light, sturdy, and high quality to me

Glen8I like mine a lot too, I find it's really comfortable in a kind of fingers-curled grip like you might use with a smaller culinary knife.

it appears that Drop no longer mentions the fact that a knife is only for right-handed carry. I wonder why.

puddnhead65It's dropping again, in case you didn't notice, wow that's like 60 days apart? I literally just got mine last week. The green is nice, and these are super light knives, very nice
