I love the design of all metal. I wonder if hands are polished silver? I would love to be white painted or superluminova . For a better legibility.

If I had the spare cash I'd get one. What a beauty, and Rado is awesome. I have a Captain Cook I adore.

Review here for the all ceramic: https://youtu.be/YR_5YvWvWWM And for the integrated leather band which happens to be a limited edition and it uses an ETA 7750 not the ETA 2894 (as suggested by Rado Caliber 674): https://youtu.be/i8eCRuq6EfQ I can confirm this 7750 caliber fact with this 📸 (source https://www.chrono24.com/rado/d-star--id13938893.htm) showing just 2️⃣5️⃣💎 instead of the 3️⃣7️⃣ for the 2894. Also there's no ETA 2894 with the subspheres in the positions we have on this ⌚

Assuming the features commenters are discussing below are as virtuous as they suggest, why cram them all into such a generic-looking (dull/boring) case? I say, a thousand-dollar watch should look like one!

You dare to mock my Royal Gypsy lineage!? I shall curse you to wear this rather drab watch for all eternity!

I'm not a huge Rado fan but always loved their Captain Cook line. Didn't know about this one, but am actually digging it. Certainly a bold and different watch, would never think of one as a one-watch-collection, but would sure add a taste of difference in a rotation. This being said the dimensions are a little confusing to me. 44mm case width is usually way too big for my wrist, but 48 l-2-l is my sweet spot, ideal dimensions to my wrist being 39/40mm wide and 47/48 l-2-l. Does anyone have an idea of how this wears on smaller wrists? Or even better, pics please? Thanks!

AleskbOh well, just saw a video review of it. It's sure big but doesn't look oversized on the reviewer's wrist. This being said, I'm not sure about how the plasma treated ceramic case looks. It's pretty in the hand to look at, but wonder if I'd like it on the wrist the way it reflects light.

AleskbShare 📽 link 🙏🏻 I have 2️⃣ Rado both ceramic... one has matte finish, the other one is polished so it's like steel, you can have different finishes there. Ceramic is like titanium but with much better scratch resistance, and it never feels cold. It's an interesting material.

I would think if the watch needs oiling as you say i would call that a service therefore it would be a good indicator

$1100 for the titanium bracelet version is a good deal. Rado is under the Swatch umbrella so selitta haters can rejoice. I view Rado as similar to Ball in that each company has their niche and they’ve stuck with it. Rado went with ceramic before all the cool kids did, and the little anchor logo spins so that when it stops spinning, you know it’s time for a service. Nice watch, good deal.

I think my toilet is also 100% ceramic. Except the seat and lid... They're just plastic. Oh well. Can't have everything.
