Was impressed with them enough I bought them again when the chance came and gave them to my friends. Nice fun iem's to grab on the go with no regrets on how they sound.
Love them love the sound love everything about em and the price is amazing. Fitted a pair of memory foam earbuds onto them and they compare to my 200$+ iems
These IEMs cost next to nothing, so the quality is amazing. For this price, I was hoping for decent sound but I received more than that. The QT5's look sharp with their aluminum housing and the sound has a lot more detail than I expected at this price point.
My other IEM's are the TFZ "Exclusive" IEMs that I purchased through this site. The QT5's are equal to the TFZ's in the looks department and both offer a comfortable fit in my ears. The cables are equally well made and have bendable plastic cuffs that fit around the ear. Each fit into my ears equally well.
In comparing audio quality, the TFZ's are to me clearly superior in sound, but only by a small margin. They seem to be a little bit better in a number of ways, including the clarity and the detail, adding up to an overall better sound, but the TFZ's were more expensive as well. The bottom line is, if you are choosing between the two and you want the extra sound quality for the money, get the TFZ's, but if you don't care or want IEM's that sound great but don't break the bank, maybe for the gym, then go with the QT5's.
I had to switch to foam tips for these to be comfortable. They're quite heavy and got painful to wear for more than 20 minutes with the included tips.
Once I switched the tips, however, I am extremely happy with them.
JalooutThey're metal, so this doesn't surprise me at all. It used to happen with my RHA-T20i's, and Apple even put out an announcement about static electricity and earbuds: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203298
While nowhere near the highest quality IEM's I've used, for the price, these are beyond phenomenal.
Certain brands, like Alclair, for example, have fit, finish, and sound much better, but for several times the price.
All in all, not a bad buy in any way. I'll definitely be grabbing more as gifts and backups.
Sound signature is very similar to my MEE m6 which is relatively neutral. Resolution and sound staging is very good. All this for 25 clams! It's a bargain. Highly recommended for an entry level IEM.
I’ve found no issues with this product, it’s been amazing since day one. The audio is smooth and outside noises are almost never a bother with these on. All in all I was very pleased with the quality of this product and would definitely recommend this product.
