After seeing our Mech Keys Community express interest in a marble wrist rest, we decided to turn dreams into reality. Our first official collaboration with Royal Glam, these heavy Massdrop-exclusive wrist rests are equal parts comfort and style Read More
Oh buddy if you think soft rests minimise joint stress then you're in for a carpal tunnel suprise. Soft feeling sure but if it's firm I'm curious as to how tall it is to ensure a proper typing position
Just pulled mine out of a closet drawer, where I had it stored since purchasing in the drop a couple months back. To call it cracked is an understatement - just from the temperature changes (it was well protected and never dropped/bumped, so I assume it was the wood warping), the marble exploded - i.e. split and cracked so aggressively that multiple marble chips fell off. Poorest quality product I have bought from anyone in a long time. From the below comments, it appears to be a 100% failure rate. Despite my disappointment, I would still be willing to join a new drop for an all-marble option. Still love the concept. A discount for previously burned customers would be a nice gesture.

Royal Glam may be one of the worst sellers I have ever dealt with online. No quality control, no apologies, and no changes to a product that has been completely broken for many iterations.
Keeping this on your store over and over is an insult to your customers. This is supposed to be a marketplace for like-minded enthusiasts, NOT a place to pump and dump inferior products on the (shrinking) group of people who haven't been burned yet.
You should be completely ashamed.
3 weeks later, horizontal crack from end to end. It's a hairline and not really annoying , but it is there and bound to get worse over time till it is unusable. Tried to take pictures, but it is just enough for your finger nail to catch and doesn't show up well on camera.
Sent a support request, hopefully never see this product dropped ever again and better get a refund.
Incredibly disappointed in the quality of this product. Arrived with minor scratches and glue on the marble. Cracks appeared after a week, and after two weeks the wooden base warped so that the rest no longer sits level. Now it's both ugly and useless. Reading the other comments, it sounds like this is a problem with the entire batch, so it's not even worthwhile to attempt replacement. Even if the quality were guaranteed, it wouldn't be worth the postage and customs fees.
Going to leave this review here so people can get an idea of timeframe for cracking when mine cracks. Seeing an absence of vendor communication on continuing issues with the product is pretty disheartening but I am hopeful quality has been made the priority this iteration of the drop.
Received mine today in black (full-size), using it now. No cracks on the marble, no blemishes on the wood, no gaps in between the layers. Lots of blemishes on the marble worried me until I scrubbed at them with my finger. Fairly confident it was droplets of dried glue as they took seconds to clean with my fingerpad and sleeve. The rest is completely even and is heavy enough for me to pass on the rubber feet most people have seemed to add in order to prevent sliding.
Curious though that the 'upper' edges of the wood side are rounded and the marble is not. I suppose every cut to the stone is expensive and/or time-consuming but I feel like it would've given it a nicer look when flipped to marble.
Overall a great addition to my desk. Hopefully they've done what they had to do to ensure integrity of the rest and this isn't a ploy to offload an excess of purchased marble. Stay tuned!
