I got a set of these from a different vendor about 2 yrs ago. I use them in an environment of 110+ db. I am very satisfied with them. The noise level is shocking! if I take them off. Bluetooth music is ok. It's Bluetooth, and I am 65. The clamp is uncomfortable after a few hours, but readjusting them works well for a guy that wears a 7 1/4 oval and glasses. I use these in a very dusty and rough environment and they don't show any wear. The ear cups are not not overly generous, but ears and nose are 2 anatomical features that continue to grow as you age. No issue with the nose with these, though. Bluetooth phone sound quality is excellent. Perfect sound on both ends of the conversation. I haven't run them longer than six hours and have never exhausted the battery. But taking them off after six hours is like taking off your ski boots after a day on the steep. OMG it feels good! I haven't used other noise cancelling headphones. I liked the price on these and I've been a Sennheiser fan for 45 years. I'm thinking of getting another pair for dressy wear ( travel).
Hmmmm... Should I have them arrive at my house in 3 business days for less money? Or should I make myself wait a month before they're even shipped AND pay more for them?

I highly doubt these are so great that shoppers outside the US can't find another way to get them sooner and cheaper
Owners, how good is the noise cancellation on these cans? From a couple reviews I read on other sites, it's not anything to write home about.
Would be good to hear your opinion based on use. Thanks for the time.
Cheers.
hoodafukisaliceThe active noise cancellation is not as effective as Bose or Sony, with a higher background noise floor in places with constant noise, such as a plane. However, in saying that, my ears are sensitive to the ANC in both Bose and Sony where the noise or feeling of pressure causes discomfort for me. In itself, that is a key consideration for a lot of people.
eugene.mcnI couldn't agree more. I get that same experience with the Bose and Sony sets I have either owned or tried. It's a very odd feeling and always resulted in me turning it off. With these I don't get that strange stuffy or pressure feeling from the ANC. It's almost as if they purposely lowered the level of it to avoid that issue. While it doesn't completely remove outside noise it does lower it enough to make you forget about it and not nitice most things while listening to music or watching a video.
