Looks like China designed and build cheap audio isn't that cheap anymore... You can buy a much nicer made and sounding DAC at this price point. There is plenty of options.

The transformer also known as power supply may create that micro vibration. It is not visible to human eye according to that pro.

If you are true music lover and have heard real acoustic instruments playing live, you would never consider anything else but a properly executed R2R dac. So called audiophiles can bite me.

PyceI'd love a Denafrips, but they do color the sound in their own way. I heard the Pontus takes a more laid back and slightly smoother approach to rendering the audio. That with the added latency, I'm not sure I'd enjoy it. For the same price, delta sigma dacs seem to come out on top in terms of detail, no? I dunno, I'd love to be proven wrong. I'm still on the fence about the D2 vs Denafrips.
