After analyzing the history of jeans and weighing all the factors that go into a piece of high quality denim, the good folks at Sugar Cane Jeans designed their own pair and quickly jumped to forefront of the raw denim movement. Combining intricate construction, refined raw materials, and an eye for style, the Sugar Cane Raw Denim Jeans more than earn a place in your wardrobe.
This design, the Union Star, was initially commissioned by the U.S. military in 1965. Brought back to celebrate Sugar Cane’s beginnings, the 14.25 oz denim is made from 100% double ring-spun African cotton and finished in a deep navy blue. As the denim is raw, it’s non-wash, adaptable to your body, and will develop fading with wear and sun exposure. At the seams, the denim is brought together with redline selvage seams.
Not content to let the denim do all the talking, Sugar Cane loaded the rest of the heavy duty pants with high quality accents. The five button fly features originally designed steel buttons, copper rivets dot the exterior, five deep pockets give you plenty of room for accessories, a deer leather patch adds wild grace, and the hand-stitched union stars on the back pockets bring the inspiration back full circle. Cut, sewn, and finished with the highest standards, Sugar Cane Raw Denim Jeans give you a jump on the other jean genies.
