I was first sent a used unsealed box!!! But after reaching out to Drop they sent me New
The first item that was shipped was used! I contacted drop about the situation and they finally sent me a new one that’s unopened and sealed so thank you I guess,I mean I waited, and then I had to wait again, so it is what it is I got a brand new product which is what I originally paid for so yeah….. this is probably gonna be the last time I purchased from drop Unless they lower their prices and offer free shipping because right now they’re at the bottom of my list I’d rather buy from overseas vendors and they’re more trustworthy than drop to me at the moment!
By far one of the best sounding single dynamic drivers to hit the market since it was released over 3 years ago. Exceptional tonality & balance, excellent timbre, & just brilliant resolution. Deep, tight, impactful bass, resolute & powerful mids, with shimmering, magical treble. No bloat, harshness, or sibilance... & no recessed frequencies either.
Finding a good fit may be tenuous due to the short sound tube nozzle; finding good eartips is essential to fitment & getting a solid seal. Sonically the Tanchjim Oxygen is adeptly capable of easily replaying any musical library with exceptional expertise. One of the very few iems capable of excellently reproducing any musical genre. Truly sensational!
To start with I should say I have more than a few IEM's including the Prism, these were purchased out of curiosity due to there reviews and the price on Drop. I also use them with a balanced cable.

Cons
Fit I use spin fit tips and I am still tip rolling suggestions are welcome.
Cable retention not all my 0.78 cables are properly secure with these. There is some issue with tolerance.
Sensitivity you cannot drive these with all earhooks ie Ibasso's and all other without amplification are not adequate.
If you can get a good fit these hit above their weight limit.
My review might be a little bias due to my expectations.
I owned the Tanchjim Cora until a cat chewed them up and I really loved those. Basically what I personally wanted would have been the Cora with a detachable cable and more detail. The Cora is an extremely energetic and spacious with exceptional bass for an IEM.
The Oxygen is most definitely not that. The Oxygen has a relatively laid back sound and is crystal clear. A lot of IEMs even in this price range cannot provide that clarity, however it is lacking in extension on both ends. I would say it's the most uncolored headphone / earphone / iem that I've ever owned or maybe ever heard for that matter. So if you are doing any sort of audio work with IEMs or prefer a neutral sound this would be a good choice. I would not call them analytical however given the general consensus of an "analytical" sound is more harsh.
I will say there's nothing the Oxygen gets wrong, however it's not coloured to my exact preference for listening to music (my favorite headphone is the Fostex TH-900) and fell short of my falsely set expectations. I expect I will keep and use them for a long time however.
I just receive these yesterday. They have a fantastic sound. I own many IEMs (MEE Pinnacle P1, Whizzer Kylin A-HE03, BGVP DM6, Tin Hifi P1) and I think these have the best sound. I know there is a lot written about the fit. I have no problem. The fit fine. Very comfortable. They are a great IEM and I highly recommend them.
I never write reviews right after receiving a product. Especially audio products. I have to give them some time. Not to burn in, but I have to listen to music at least several hours. I really expected those IEMs to be better. And I don't compare them to Focal Elex or even AKG Q701. I wanted them to have comparable audio quality to my Sony MDR-1000X and they don't even come close. Even when my Sony headphones are off and connected via cable they are much much much better sounding than Tanchjim Oxygen. Also I try not to remember how long I had to wait for them. What is definitely the biggest flaw of those IEMs is annoying bad sounding sibilants. They are well made, they look good, they sit in my ears fine, but I just don't like the sound, especially those sibilants. I even bought official Tanchjim upgrade cable before I got those IEMs from Massdrop, because I was so sure they really would sound OK. Not recommended.
