Characterized by its vintage design, this pilot’s watch from Techné is equally suitable for a trek outdoors or a stroll through the city. Reliable, accurate, and legible, it features large Arabic numerals at 6, 9, and 12 o’clock as well as a date window at 3 o’clock and a seconds subdial at 6 o’clock. The skeletonized hands, indexes, and numerals are all coated with Super-Luminova for visibility. With regards to movement, it’s fitted with Miyota GP11 Quartz movement. To ensure it won’t break down on you in harsh conditions, the case is made from sand-blasted, matte black aluminum with a mineral crystal, and it wraps around the wrist with a nylon band.

Founded in 2007, Techné Instruments gets its name from the ancient Greek word for craftsmanship, “texni.” While it caters to outdoorsmen, the company has developed a large catalogue of watches suitable for a wide range of applications. Each of its timepieces is assembled by hand using components made skilled metalsmiths, lithographs, and leatherworkers.
